Living in DC

We have a home!
Trevor surfed the internet and called apartment complexes for 10 days straight (you should see his spreadsheet) until we finally found a studio apartment in Dupont Circle, a nice area in DC with lots of restaurants, gyms, parks, and transportation nearby. If you want to know our new address, send me an email at t1trust@gmail.com

Our studio is 7 blocks from Whole Foods, 10 blocks from 2 metros, 1 block from a dog park, and 4-5 blocks from food. We are definitely building up our walking muscles!
So to recap our first week in D.C.:
We stayed in Alexandria, Virginia for a week. It's a beautiful town with lots of red brick buildings and historic landmarks.
I joined two new sports teams - I play soccer on Thursdays (at the National Mall) and flag football on Saturdays. Trevor met his lead teacher and found out he will be an instructional aide for 3 year olds! We attended National Dance Day by the Capital. We survived an intense thunderstorm with lots of lightning and pouring rain. We even helped conduct an emergency response on an individual suffering from severe heat stroke during a very hot day at the National Mall.As you can tell, it's been quite a week. More adventures to come...until then, here are some photos (flickr slideshow)
